Hatha Yoga

Differentiating between the different styles of Yoga classes available to chose can be very confusing. There are so many names and varieties of yoga classes that you may not know where to turn. Its wonderful that so many people want to teach yoga and go to classes. At the end of the day it is all Yoga.

At the end of a Yoga class I would hope for you to feel:

A greater connection to yourself
A sense of wellbeing
Less stressed
More supple
Have a slightly lower Blood Pressure and pulse
Have performed some bone loading activity
A sense of connection to others

Hatha Yoga is based on traditional yoga. My classes  consist of working thorough the postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work) and relaxation. I like to work with a theme for a few weeks so that the students can feel a sense of progression.

My classes are designed to challenge you physically and emotionally, however we always work at a pace to suit you.

Trained with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWYQ) 500 hours. 2011-2014

See why people in Beeston and Nottingham are enjoying Yoga with Yvonne Patrick.

“I’m so pleased Yvonne teaches nearby. It’s great to find a yoga teacher who is knowledgable, enthusiastic and keen to develop her students to their best potential. I feel that Yvonne puts thought into her classes each week to ensure her students experience well-rounded and well-balanced development.

Yvonne encourages me to put in the effort to improve my practice in a way that doesn’t make me feel too pressured. She also injects light-hearted humour into the classes which means that students warm to her and get to know fellow students well too. The mood of the class is a supportive and welcoming one which is definitely encouraged by Yvonne’s personality.”
