Soothe & Settle your Nervous System: an afternoon of Restorative Yoga

Saturday 15th January 2-4pm on Zoom

During the last year I’m sure we have all felt our Nervous Systems have become a little “frayed” around the edges. Sometimes we don’t even recognise the effects of cumulative stress on the mind & body. 

Restorative Yoga is an excellent way to encourage & provide us with the space to stop, slow down & relax. This is done with the aid of “props” to encourage our sympathetic nervous system to switch to its parasympathetic state.

This Workshop is designed to do just that. We will spend time in restful postures supported by props such as cushions, blankets & bolsters ending with a long savasana to enable deep relaxation.

During the session we will also practice Meditation & Pranayama (breathing practices).
